DeBoer addressed the status of two of Dallas' core players, Miro Heiskanen and Jason Robertson, after Saturday’s Game 7 win, offering optimism but no guarantees or a set timeline for their respective returns.

Through six games against Colorado, it remains to be seen. In a thrilling back-and-fourth series with two ties and both teams leading at different points, the Stars have surprised the hockey world by reaching Game 7 in a series many counted them out of because of Heiskanen’s — and Jason Robertson’s — absences.

DALLAS – Jason Robertson and Miro Heiskanen, who each missed the entire Western Conference First Round for the Dallas Stars, are expected to return from injury in the second round, though coach Pete DeBoer is not certain when that will be.
