Axiom Mission 4 astronauts dock the international Space Station, including the first Indian to set foot on the space station, on Thursday morning.

The four-person crew of Axiom Mission 4 docked to the International Space Station on Thursday (June 26). Former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson led the team which includes Shubhanshu Shukla of India, Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski of Poland, and Tibor Kapu of Hungary.

After more than 24 hours on orbit, the the private astronaut crew of Axiom-4 has caught up to the International Space Station, docked and been welcomed aboard for their two-week mission.
