One of the top life insurance companies in the country says that over a million of its customers are at risk after a significant data breach. Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America says that it was subject to the breach on July 16,

Hackers gained access to personal data on the majority of the 1.4 million customers of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, the company confirmed Saturday.

Allianz Life said the "majority" of its customers and employees had data stolen in the July cyberattack. The company said it has notified the FBI.
