Yardbarker on MSNInsider reveals Knicks' stance on Kevin Durant trade amid rumorsThe Knicks have been viewed as major players in the Kevin Durant sweepstakes, but a league source tells Stefan Bondy of the New York Post that New York won’t be pursuing the Suns star.A report from ESPN’s Shams Charania identified the Knicks as one of the teams that have expressed interest in acquiring Durant.
Speaking Tuesday on Get Up, ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst expressed his belief that the Suns will trade Durant "in the coming weeks." Windhorst's report comes on the heels of ESPN's Bobby Marks reporting that the Suns are "likely" to reset their roster this offseason, with a Durant trade being the first major domino to fall.
Of course the Knicks are interested in trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo. If he decides it’s time to move on from Milwaukee (a decision likely to come closer to the NBA draft), 29 other teams are going to call Bucks GM Jon Horst and kick the tires on a deal.
